The City of Fort Collins Neighborhood Services/Code Compliance implemented a new program in 2019, the "Block Party Trailer".   This program features a trailer loaded with tables, chairs, and games to support neighborhood block parties.  The trailer is delivered to the host and later picked-up by Fort Collins Neighborhood Services Team.  It has proven to be very popular and has been a positive impact for residents within the community.

     Congratulations

to

Fort Collins

 on winning the

Juan Eagle Award!

L - R : David Dangler from Fort Collins accepts the Juan Eagle Award from CACEO Vice-President Terry Steinborn at the 2020 March Quarterly Training in Edgewater, CO.

The Juan Eagle Award is presented yearly to a member jurisdiction that has planned and successfully held a community event that embodies the values of code enforcement to protect the health and safety of the residents, while promoting good community involvement and values. The Juan Eagle  is a traveling trophy and will live at the awarded jurisdiction for the year until it is presented again the following year. There are plenty of blank name plates on the award that would look great with your Department's name on it!  Submit your community event to be featured here, showcase your teams efforts and inspire other members to create events in their communities too.
