CACEO Quarterly Training Sessions

Our association of code enforcement officials is made up of a diverse group of professionals. CACEO members work in a variety of venues and environments; cities, small towns, villages, busy commercial districts, quiet residential neighborhoods, rural farming communities, and even popular vacation resorts. The issues our members address are just as varied as the environments they work in and it is incumbent on us to provide education and training for our membership on these issues.

Given our diversity, we are challenged to provide not only quality training, but training that is relevant to our entire membership. We meet this challenge by offering Quarterly Training sessions (QTs).  QTs are held in March, June, September, and December of each year and are included in the annual CACEO membership dues.

Another challenge is to make training fairly accessible to all members, so QTs are scheduled at various locations throughout the state. Although, most training sessions are held along the Front Range, at least one QT is scheduled well away from the state’s central region.

Quarterly Trainings are opportunities for gaining knowledge, maintaining training, and for networking with members from other jurisdictions, but it’s not always all about business. The June training is usually accompanied by a CACEO sponsored social event the evening prior to the training.

QTs are also opportunities for members to be more involved in the association by offering to host a particular training session. Hosting a QT is great way for members to showcase their jurisdictions and departments. Click on Quarterly Training Handbook for Hosts for more information.
