    Congratulations

Fort Lupton

 on winning the

Juan Eagle

for your

Clean Up Day Events

The Juan Eagle is awarded yearly during the December business meeting to a member jurisdiction that has planned and successfully held a community event that embodies the values of code enforcement to protect the health and safety of the residents, while promoting good community involvement and values. The eagle will live at the awarded jurisdiction for the year until awarded again in December. This award currently accommodates for 30 years of upcoming events and has been designed to grow from there, continuing to encourage and reward member jurisdictions to engage with their communities to build sustainable relationships that promote all the values of code enforcement.

City of Fountain: Submitted by Juan Flores                                             Date: November, 2014

Fountain has a new Recycling Center thanks the efforts of Code Enforcement Supervisor, Juan Flores and a handful of wonderful volunteers.  Opened for a trial period last fall, the center is now regularly open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 1 pm and there are plans to host special recycling events like this most recent one:

We had a pretty successful E-Recycling event in late November in spite of the freezing temperatures! Many Citizens braved the cold and wind to take advantage of the FREE electronics recycling event.
